Transnationalizing Modern Languages: An Exhibit

Transnationalizing Modern Languages is a multi-year research project that examined how modern Italian culture has developed around the world, involving colleagues at Bristol, QMU, St. Andrews, Warwick, has been awarded £1.8million by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). From the insights it develops into transnational Italian cultures, the project intends to forge a new framework for the discipline of Modern Languages as a whole, with the interaction of languages and cultures at its core.

Project leaders Loredana Polezzi and Charles Burdett will be present, in conversation with the Calandra Institute’s Fred Gardaphe. Event moderated by Anthony Julian Tamburri.
