Study Abroad and Exchange Programs

The CUNY/Italy Exchange Program is a student exchange between CUNY and Italian public universities including Link Campus University (Rome), Università della Calabria, Università degli Studi “G. d’Annunzio” Chieti-Pescara, Università per Stranieri di Perugia, and Università degli Studi di Siena. The program is designed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in course work and/or research in a wide range of academic areas. Students are provided with an individualized plan of study in their academic discipline, a chance to learn about Italy and the European Union, and opportunities for intellectual growth. For more information or to apply, please contact Joan Migliori: joan.migliori@qc.cuny.edu.

Calandra is also involved in organizing Queens College Summer study programs to the University of Perugia. Students can study Italian language and culture at Perugia’s university, located in one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Italy. Perugia, Umbria’s capital, is located halfway between Rome and Florence and close to Siena, Assisi, and Cortona. This program is offered in collaboration with the Department of European Languages and Literatures. For more information about this for-credit program, please contact Program Coordinator Olivia Tursi: Olivia.Tursi@qc.cuny.edu.
