Artists’ Talk: Painting, Sculpture, and Installation, with Paul Fabozzi, Dario Mohr, Don Porcaro, Josette Urdo

In conjunction with the exhibition A Legacy of Making: 21 Contemporary Italian American Artists, we present a series of artists’ talks.

On October 18 and November 8, we’ll hear from artists who are not in the exhibition but whose work is very much part of the contemporary art scene. The artists will speak about their work, followed by a Q&A moderated by exhibition co-curator Joanne Mattera. On December 13, artists in the exhibition will gather in the gallery to speak informally about their work.

All of these artists are included in the just-published book, Italianità: Contemporary Art Inspired by the Italian Immigrant Experience, edited by Joanne Mattera. Books will be available for perusal and purchase.
