Frank Polizzi will provide an overview of his new book of sonnets, A New Life with Bianca, highlighting the important influences on this project. There will be a video with music that illuminates Michael McCurdy’s engravings, including the first line of each sonnet. Then Frank will read sonnets #2 & 3 in English, followed by Chiara Curtoni, who will read her Italian translations, and Nino Provenzano, who will read his Sicilian translations. Afterwards there will be a Q & A with the author and translators. Books will be available at a discounted price.
