Bordighera Press
Founded by Fred Gardaphé, Paolo Giordano, and Anthony Julian Tamburri in 1990, Bordighera Press was, for thirty-four years, an independent, nonprofit publisher specializing in the latest research and critical works; new voices in poetry and prose; and reprinting significant contributions in the fields of migration, Italian diasporas, and Italian Americana. In 2024 Bordighera Press was acquired by The City University of New York and is now an imprint of the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute of Queens College, The City University of New York.
